Working together for a Brighter Future

We're a small relationship-focused practice.
We are neurodiversity-affirming and celebrate differences, to provide truly individualised therapeutic input.
Funding: we accept NDIS, Medicare (Chronic Disease Management Plans and Mental Health Care Plans), Private Health Insurance, and Privately Funded Clients.
We provide individual, peer and group sessions.
Parent and school educational support sessions are also available.
Reports are written at request for OT Assessment, Functional Capacity Assessments, Assistive Technology and NDIS Specific Reports.
Sessions may be conducted in clinic, home, community, educational settings or via Telehealth.
Professional Development is key to ensuring we provide interventions of best practice.
New client intake is limited to ensure current clients remain our priority.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes in length, and are located in our well-resourced clinic at Kallangur, QLD.
When appropriate for client goals or needs, a home or community visit may be conducted.
Therapy sessions may be conducted at educational settings on a regular, once-off, or quarterly basis, dependent on client and family goals and needs.
Therapy sessions may be provided over video or phone calls on a regular or on an 'as-needs' basis.
Reports, Home Programs and Visual Supports can be provided upon request. We complete OT Assessment Reports, reports for NDIS and other funding bodies, Functional Capacity Assessments, as well as for certain Assistive Technology and Home Modifications.
MOccThyS, BSc
I am really passionate about supporting people to be live happy and successful lives. I have been an Occupational Therapist for almost twenty years, having worked for Education Queensland, New South Wales Health, The Rainbow School in London, as a Contractor in Turkey, and in Non-For-Profit and Private Practices in Queensland.
I work with clients from the age of six months right through to adulthood. I am particularly passionate about working with children who are on the Autism Spectrum, have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety or those who are having Learning Difficulties.
I am trained in
Sensory Integration, Trauma, Social Thinking, Executive Function, Therapeutic Listening, Astronaut Program, ADOS assessment, Home Modifications, Sleep, Play, and Fine and Gross Motor skills.
When I’m not at work, I love heading to the beach or the park with my two little boys. My boys are obsessed with sports, transformers, monster trucks and risky play!
I love to play, and believe I have the most wonderful job in the world! Who else gets to play with swings, bubbles, and games all day long?
As a child, I loved to ‘invent new things’, conduct ‘experiments’ with my tea set, and write poetry – likely influenced by my parents who taught Senior Marine Biology and Primary School aged children.
We acknowledge and pay respect to the Traditional Owners of the land on which we work and meet, the Turrbal people, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
Please contact us directly with any questions, comments, or scheduling inquiries you may have.
We are currently fully booked and are unable to take new referrals.
